Privacy Policy

We collect information only when you actively provide it:

• —Email address and city/ward preferences — when you sign up for vote alerts
• —Payment details — processed by Stripe (we never see or store your card number)
• —Files you upload — only through the Candidate Runway tool (see below)

We do not require an account to browse councillor scores, vote records, or any public content on this site.

All payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of a successful payment but never store your credit card number, CVV, or full billing details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for how they handle payment data.

If you subscribe to ward or councillor alerts, your email address and preferences are stored with Brevo (our email provider) and used only to send you the alerts you requested. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not track individual users across sites, do not use cookies for tracking, and do not share data with advertising networks. Aggregate statistics (page views, city popularity) are used to improve the product.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Period.

We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

• —With service providers (Stripe, Brevo) solely to operate the platform
• —If required by Canadian law or a valid court order

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• —Access the personal information we hold about you
• —Request correction of inaccurate information
• —Withdraw consent and request deletion of your data
