CivicWire

Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

By using CivicWire, you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language because you should actually be able to read them.

Scores are editorial opinion

CivicWire scores are editorial opinion based on public records — not statements of fact. They are analytical estimates derived from a published methodology. Scores may change as new data becomes available. We make no warranty as to their accuracy or completeness.

We do not endorse candidates

CivicWire does not endorse any candidate, political party, or political position. Our scores are derived from objective criteria — voting records, attendance, and public filings — evaluated against a consistent, published formula. A high or low score is not an endorsement or condemnation.

Paid reports

Paid products (Voter Dossier PDF, Candidate Runway Gap Analysis, Victory Roadmap) are informational tools for civic research and campaign planning. They do not guarantee electoral outcomes or constitute professional legal, financial, or political advice. Purchase does not imply any endorsement by CivicWire.

Refund requests within 48 hours of purchase will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Email info@civicwire.ca.

Data accuracy & corrections

We work hard to ensure all published data is accurate and properly sourced. If you believe a score or data point is incorrect, email info@civicwire.ca with supporting documentation. Correction requests are reviewed within 5 business days and published transparently.

Acceptable use

You may not use CivicWire to:

  • Scrape or republish data commercially without a data licensing agreement
  • Misrepresent CivicWire scores as factual statements or independent third-party endorsements
  • Harass, defame, or target individuals using data from this platform
